AVIARY BIRDS

Thursday, August 9, 2012. Took a small vacation to France and upon return our young baby cardinal looked quite grown up! It was a nice surprise! Even nicer was a new nest of cardinals holding 2 very fat little babies about 8 days old. As of this moment we are happy to report we have 3 beautiful young cardinals. The oldest is now molting a bit and we see new RED feathering coming in. Its a boy! Links to this post. Monday, July 9, 2012. Thursday, July 5, 2012.

Pilots zapped by laser inflight. There are alarming increase in reports from pilots who think they have been zapped by laser inflight. From what I understand some of these encounters have come from police, traffic and news helicopter pilots. Commercial and fixed wing pilots spend less time in low altitude flying and typically look slantly down to the ground during take off and landings.
